LOVING IT SO FAR!
2009 has seen both studios busy producing fantastic projects, and there is a strong artistic community developing here! Amy Meredith’s (Sony Music) new stuff is excellent….straight up, amazing sounding pop! Producers Rob Conley & Brian Paturalski are a great team and we look forward to hearing more from these guys. The Victor Row Band; a piano-based soft tock quintet out of Adelaide are currently working on their debut album at The Grove to be released late 2009 and Margaret Helen King & The Sorry Tree from Canberra have recently released their new EP. Shane Fritsch has been tracking his new album and is currently in LA finishing it off and preparing for world domination with his new band. After a very successful seven week tour of Aus and NZ Studio manager Kathy Johnston has returned home and the sounds of East Africa & The Sowers Group are still emanating from Andy Sorenson’s Translator Studio. We look forward to hearing the live tour album from this exciting group. Hillsong have also been doing some work on vocals in Studio 2 with Josh Telford. The new United album has just made it to No 1 on I-tunes in the US. Rob Conely was back recently with Brian McFadden recording some songs and 7th Coda's songs are sounding great and are almost ready for mixing. These local guys are great fun and we love their music… hooky rock with a little pop. Studio 2 came up with the goods with some hot drums and bass sounds. If you, or your clients have always wanted to work and soak up the vibe at The Grove, with Studio 2 now open and some great winter specials on Studio 1 there's now an inexpensive option for recording your EP, album, overdubs, tracking or mixing. If you have any questions or there's anything we can assist you with please don't hesitate to contact us.
