SCOTT HORSCROFT
Scott Horscroft has shaped the sound of Australian music for the past two decades, and helped its artists to achieve success on a global scale.
The breadth of his production and mixing experience is immense, Scott has worked on career-defining international releases by Alison Wonderland, DMA’S, Sleepy Jackson, Empire Of The Sun, Birds Of Tokyo, Silverchair and The Presets.
Scott has also helped create pivotal records with The Temper Trap, Paul Kelly, Little Red, Oh Mercy, The Panics, Tkay Maidza, Dune Rats, Mercy Arms and many more.
Scott cut his teeth owning and operating Surry Hills-based studio Big Jesus Burger (BJB) from 2003 to 2012, which birthed to many ARIA Award-winning and -nominated albums. Bringing all his passions together, in 2013 he acquired and reignited The Grove Studios on the NSW Central Coast. Opening it up to external use as a state-of-the-art recording studio and training academy, in the past few years the facility has played host to the current crop of world-conquering Australian talent including Ocean Alley, Skeggs, Sarah Blasko, Violent Soho, Courtney Barnett, Julia Jacklin and Vera Blue.
