STUDIO 1

Studio 1 is built around our renowned 56-channel SSL G series console.  This famous console has been the centrepiece of many amazing records throughout history.  Studio 1 also features a collection of the world’s most sought after analogue recording equipment, with the choice of recording digitally or to our Studer A827 24 track tape machine.  With the recent addition of a Yamaha C5 Grand Piano, Studio 1 is more than equipped with everything you need to get the highest quality, professional productions!

The studio is attached to accommodation allowing for 24-hour access.  This accommodation is equipped with a large kitchen, living area, BBQ and pool and spa access. 52 square metres of timber parquetry flooring, abundant natural sunlight and the choice of four interconnected live rooms make Studio 1 a truly imaginative space to create music in. 

The Grove Studios is one of Australia’s leading creative hubs and has played home to albums by many of Australia’s leading acts including; Silverchair, Courtney Barnett, Ocean Alley, The Presets, DMA’s, Eskimo Joe, Birds of Tokyo, DZ Deathrays, Alison Wonderland, Kasey Chambers, Oh Mercy, Sarah Blasko, Julia Jacklin and Skegss to name but a few.

The Solid State Logic SL 4000 G Series is the world’s most successful studio production console. Its reputation is built upon SSL’s design excellence, advanced electronic engineering and a sound quality that has produced hundreds of best selling recordings.
A key element in the sound of many of these recordings is punch and drive of the mixes created by the classic G-Series centre section compressor.
